A fun time at the old Urban Agriculture Hoot, again. We got to watch little kids play in compost and hit each other with shovels. Also, pee on things, can't forget that. It was like watching one of those troupes of monkees in India raid neighbordhoods for a little bit there. I kid, mostly they were well behaved munchkins. Can you get insurance for little kids burying each other in compost piles with shovels? If I had half that much energy... Anyway, great food, awesome idea and a lot of community coming together it's pretty hard to beat that kind of experience. Also, we were introduced by Simon Rose. There aren't very many people in the world I let introduce us, it always feels kind of cheese-ball, but for Simon exceptions must be made. Simon Rose and Eddy Stubbs, my two favorite DJ voices, for very different reasons. Cheers. Add Comment |
