Got to hang out with some cool people and totally take advantage
of the free drinks we were promised.
Not sure they'll give us that kind of carte blanche again.
It was also nice to play on a bill with mandolin players in every band.
Mandolin players of very different styles, it's always good to see.
Although, we had to put up with more of those people that hit things with
sticks for a living.
I've never been sure about those people, but I try not to discriminate.
As much as I loved playing with Brian E. Coughlin for all those years, I don't miss drum checks.
They still work. You don't have to hit them that many times before the
mic is up.
Next time, maybe, I'll bitch about guitar players that play through everyone else's instrument and vocal check.
They've got to get their "tone".
